Beautiful mid-19th century souvenir of the delights of Switzerland, depicting scenic views as well as inhabitants in charming native costume. The first work consists of 12 scenic colour plates after Deroy, lithographed by Muller or Aubrun (not in Longchamp). The second work, bound with the first, includes 12 plates of local costumes, signed "Charles Vallet" (Lonchamp attributing it to the publisher Bicherat).
