Includes numerous tables, sketches and calculations, which suggest the author's intention to provide a helpful work for practical use at the construction site. Dedicated to Archduke Carl Ludwig of Austria, a younger brother of Emperor Franz Joseph I.

Partly untrimmed copy. Title-page marginally brownstained, wrappers duststained, rear cover loose. From the library of the Viennese collector Werner Habel, with his signed and stamped ownership, dated 1984, to the flyleaf.
