Reissue of this early work on the Saudi Kingdom, previously published by List in Leipzig the same year, in the midst of the Second World War and reflecting the National Socialist geopolitical perspective. Dagobert von Mikusch (1874-1950) wrote popular political biographies, often on Middle Eastern themes, and translated into German T. E. Lawrence's "Revolt in the Desert", as well as the memoirs of Churchill and Lloyd George.
