An Elizabethan treatise on the training of sparrowhawks; no. 39 of 100 numbered copies. The original manuscript was at Didlington Hall, Norfolk in the possession of Mr. W. A. Tyssen-Amherst. "Written about 1575, the original vellum ms. was discovered in a country home, where it had lain forgotten for several hundred years; its authorship has not been established" (Cave).

Lacking backstrip; upper cover detached. Corners worn, rubbed.
