Extraordinarily comprehensive run of papers from the 1965 Petroleum Congress, many issued by prominent oil companies, including Kuwait Oil, the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco), and Shell Qatar. Discusses seismic and geological issues, questions of palynology, and the role of formation waters and ground water in oil reservoirs, as well as the Qatar offshore fields, and the improvement of the drilling technique in the Kuwait Burgan field. The folding plates illustrate paleoecological studies, biostratigraphic issues of the Rahmi Shukeir Area, the productivity of the Belayim marine field, and pilot water injection. This set comprises issues no. 27, 29-33, 36, 46, 48, 52, 53, 57 and 60.

All but 2 with the handwritten initials "D. a. H." to front wrappers. Issue 27 with the library stamp and barcode of Arco Oil and Gas Company Research & Technical Services Library. Issue 57 is a photocopy of the issue held at the Mobile Oil Corporation library. Issue no. 60 in English and Arabic.
