To the novelist Catherine Hutton (1756-1846) staying at 8 Union Parade, Leamington, about his "Winter Sketches in Lapland" published in 1826: "I have the pleasure of sending you the illustrations of my winter travels in Lapland: by their assistance you will I think, be enabled to form a tolerable idea both of the general features of the country, & of the means which a kind Providence has afforded the native of traversing the frozen snows of the North [...] Perhaps you will have the kindness when you have done with them, to forward them to your friends at the Priory at Warwick [...]" (Regent Hotel, Leamington, 13 Sept. 1834).
To the same, with congratulations: "I congratulate you on your success & I am much obliged for a sight of the correspondence which is interesting and curious. I am just returned here & shall stay about a month [...]" (Portland Street, Leamington, 25 Jan. 1841).
A fragment to Lord Sondes, his brother-in-law: "Dear Sondes, I inclose for your perusal 2 letters from Mr. Fletcher: I think you may be inclined to attend to the last request" (clipped, no place or date).
All three mounted on a backing leaves bound as a booklet with autograph biographical notes on Brooke and descriptions of their encounters by Catherine Hutton, as well as a newspaper clipping showing an illustration of the North Cape.
