To a scholar regarding an illustration for his major work "The History of the French, Walloon, Dutch, and other Foreign Protestant Refugees settled in England", to be published in 1846: "Mr. Field & also Mr. A. Taylor have been so good as to allow me to use their names in enquiring whether you possess a Representation of the Church of St. Mary the Less at Norwich. You will see in the proposition on the other Side, the Work I am upon and I should be glad to embellish it with a Cut of this Church [...]".

The mentioned printed proposal is on page 3 of the bifolium. With a brief bibliographical reference, probably by the recipient.
