The end of a report on the music of the composers Pierre Roll and Auguste Panseron. Unfortunately Roll submitted only a single piece of music, for which reason Cherubini and his colleagues were unable to assess the progress in the composition's dramatic style.

Early in their careers, Roll and Panseron had cooperated on the opéra-comique "L'École de Rome", which premiered in 1826. Roll won the first Grand Prix de Rome for his cantata "Atala" in 1814, granted by the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

Counter-signed by the professors of the Paris conservatory François-Joseph Gossec, Jean-François Le Sueur, and Henri Montan Berton, and with a second signature by Cherubini after the postscript. Minor flaws to the margins.
