Thanking the publisher Maurice Delamain at Librairie Stock for his proper behaviour in an unspecified affair, possibly concerning a publication project: "Je ne pensais pas à vous ni à J.B. en adressant cette boutade à la 'maison Stock'. J'étais sous l'impression des prix que j'avais lus dans certains catalogues mais je vous accorde bien volontiers que vous agi très [...] correctement en cette affaire".

Mauriac's only major publication with Stock is the long poem "L'Adieu à l'adolescence" that was originally published in 1911.
