Last edition of the works supervised and corrected by the author. Fine copy of the deluxe edition on velin paper, untrimmed in the publisher's original boards. This edition by Christian Felix Weiße, introduced by a Life of the author and Uz's best-known work, his "Essay on the Art of Perpetual Happiness", eclipsed all previous editions by its elaborate, highly classical design (cf. Durstmüller).

Foxed throughout; bindings somewhat rubbed and bumped.
