 210.00

First Venetian edition (probably the third altogether; first published in 1745). The present grammar is the most important work of the author, the Bologna theologian Salvadore Corticelli (1689-1758), who had studied in Rome and published on Boccaccio. By 1870, his 'Regole' had been published in more than 20 editions and were esteemed during their time as the best work of the kind.

One of the binding’s edges shows minor defect, front cover slightly rubbed, otherwise a beautifully preserved copy with splendid floral gold-stamping to the spine.
