First edition of Muratori's edition. Paulinus of Nola (c. 353-431), "the greatest Christan poet of antiquity next to Prudentius" (cf. Tusc. Lex. Lit. 194), corresponded with St. Augustine, St. Jerome, Martin of Tours, Sulpicius Severus, and Anastasius I.

Lower spine-end slightly damaged, otherwise perfect, wide-margined copy has handwritten ownership by the manuscript collector Carlo Maria della Pace.
