To an impresario in London, agreeing to play a concert: "En réponse à votre lettre j'ai l'honneur de vous prévenir que j'aurai grand plaisir à jouer votre concert pour le cinq et 10 janvier".
Herz was a frequent guest on the stages of London after his debut on 10 June 1833 at the Royal Philharmonic Society. In 1835, he dedicated his 3rd piano concert in d minor to the Royal Philharmonic Society and debuted it thereat. Thus, he was probably in London when he agreed to play a concert for the unidentified recipient.
Traces of folds. Somewhat stained and creased. Lower margin of the address leaf clipped (no loss to text).
