Fine drawing of a pack camel in the desert, accompanied bedouins and an Arab horseman. Signed and dated by the artist, Barthel, who is possibly a member of the large family of Leipzig-based goldsmiths active around the late 18th and early 19th century.

Old vertical fold, otherwise perfect.
