Statistical analysis of the health care and logistics of the Hajj of 1353 (AD 1935), covering the origins, travel routes, illnesses etc. of the roughly 80,000 pilgrims who visited the Holy Sites of Islam that year. The present volume is the eighth in the extremely rare series covering the early-20th-century Hajj, a period of transition toward steeply increasing numbers of pilgrims, now in excess of three million persons a year.
