To an unnamed addressee that he will return at noon and wants to talk to the addressee. Michelet praises a M. Aubertin, an ex-professor of Louis le grand, for his excellent and deep knowledge of the French language. Aubertin wrote a Grammar book that is, in Michelet's view, useful for everybody, also for foreigners, and Michelet contacts Aubertin often in doubtful cases concerning the French language, with great success: "Je reviens du midi, cher monsieur, et à propos pour vous parler d'une affaire qui, je crois, serait excellente.
