London & Paris, Waterlow & Sons, [ca. 1880].

8vo. (4) pp. Title page printed in red and green.

Advertisement brochure for Violet's Royal Thridace Soap, with the copy printed in twelve languages, including Arabic and Ottoman Turkish, but also German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Greek, and Romanian, as well as Chinese and Japanese. In English, it reads: "The Royal Thridace Soap, manufactured by Violet, Perfumer (Patentee), is the only soap highly recommended by the most eminent physicians for cleaning and beautifying the skin. Depôts in all the principal cities of the world. Trade Mark: 'The Queen Bee.' Beware of imitations." - Traces of folds. A fine survival of an ephemeral piece.
