Collection of rare Arabic versions of several parts of the New Testament: St Paul's Epistle to the Romans and the Epistle to the Hebrews, as well as the Acts of the Apostles (with the Latin and Arabic title pages in facsimiles) and a brief synopsis of the Sacred History, for the benefit of Muslim readers (lacking the final leaf). Edited by the German oriental scholar and Lutheran theologian J. H. Callenberg (1694-1760), a champion of the Protestant mission among Jews and Muslims, and published at his own printing office.
In Arabic throughout. Well preserved. All very rare.
