From the exceedingly rare series "Sixteen views of places in the Persian Gulph", engraved after drawings taken by Richard Temple, a private in his Majesty's 65th regiment during the British attacks against the tribes of the Gulf in 1809. The port of Shinas is located near the border between Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
