A popular liturgical book containing prayers, psalms, songs and gospel texts for service during the Holy Week. The engraved illustrations by Johann Caspar Gutwein depict scenes from the Passion of Christ, showing Gethsemane, the Flagallation of Christ, the Crown of Thorns, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. 19th century ownership label by Alois Fuchs, provost of the Graz parish church, to pastedown.

Binding rubbed. Paper slightly browned, first half somewhat waterstained. From the library of the Viennese collector Werner Habel, with his ownership stamp to flyleaf.
