The Responsa of Rabbi Isaac ben Sheshet (Ribash), previously twice printed in the 16th century (in 1547 in Istanbul and in 1559 in Riva di Trento); Josef Karo claimed that his teacher Jacob Berab relied on these rulings more than on all similar authorities (cf. Jüd. Lex.). The Talmudic scholar Isaac ben Sheshet, who flourished in Spain and Algiers in the late 14th and early 15th century, was an expert on the philosophy of his time. He rejected Aristotle for being at variance with the Bible's teaching on creation and providence.

Binding rubbed and bumped at extremeties; interior browned and waterstained. Some edge defects near the end (without loss to text). Numerous contemporary and later ownerships and annotations to endpapers, mostly in Hebrew.
