To Mr. L. Schwarz, typesetter at the Imperial and Royal Court and State Printing Office in Vienna, about the layout of an upcoming edition of one of his works, explaining the changes he requests to be made in the received typesetting samples, such as reducing the line spacing and inserting asterisks in a few places: "Ich nehme mir die Freiheit Ihnen einige Bemerkungen über die neulich mir zugesandten Setzproben mitzutheilen.

After finishing his studies at the Vienna Oriental Academy Schlechta von Wschehrd worked as an ambassador in Constantinople and soon became a dragoman. In 1860 he was the provisional director of the Oriental Academy and was appointed a diplomatic agent and Counsel General of Bucharest in 1870.
