First edition, "rare" (Lentner). A contemporary history of Napoleon's campaign in Tyrol during the War of the First Coalition, operations which claimed some 500 lives on the Tyrolean side. Carl von Eiberg (1754-1822), a native of Hall in Tyrol and owner of estates in Wertenegg and Eichberg, was a civil servant in the Innsbruck government.

Boards lightly bumped on the fore-edge corners. Contemporary handwritten ownership "Attlmayer" to title-page. Light browning throughout; glue-staining to corners of first and last pages. Introductory page "XIV" is incorrectly printed "VIX".
