First edition of "The First Crossing of Greenland" (as the book was titled in English), signed and inscribed to the writer Grete Gulbransson, second wife of the Norwegian artist Olaf Gulbransson: "Fil Grete fra Fridtjof / Lysaker 1 april 1912 / Ungdens drömmer, mange örner, / söker ut mot blae topper [...]" ("Dreams of youth, eagles plenty, briskly they fly upwards into blue heights where the thin morning mist lifts its veil: day has come! Alas, where may they have gone?").

Binding slightly bumped and rubbed, with Gulbransson's bookplate to pastedown.
