First edition of this rare monograph on silk cultivation, trade and industry in Japan. The large plates show silk weaving; the map (after Schett) shows the local centres of the sillk industry.

Lower corners of the splendid binding insignificantly bumped, otherwise perfectly preserved. Interior lightly foxed; plates and map show slight tears to the hinges.
