Pretty series of views of old Galveston before the disastrous hurricane that devastated the city in 1900. During the 19th century, Galveston had become a major commercial centre and one of the largest ports in the US. For a time the largest city in Texas, it was hailed as the "Queen City of the Gulf".
Binding a little rubbed, otherwise fine.
