Interesting visiting card, full of details concerning Léhar's then-current performances. Writing to the Czech-born French music publisher Max Eschig in Paris, Lehár requests a loan of the first song from the second act of "Der Graf von Luxemburg", which he would love to have sung in Vienna. He finishes his note with a whimsical invitation to the operetta "Where the Lark Sings", which he will soon direct in Milan at the "Teatro Lirico": "Wenns Dir keine Mühe verursacht, so bitte ich Dich um leihweise Überlassung der I. Nummer des II. Aktes von Luxemburg. Ich möchte die Polonaise einmal auch in Wien singen lassen. Ich dirigiere hier am 15. im Teatro Lyric die Lerche. Wenn Du 'fesch' bist kommst Du her! [...]".
