Inscribed to the German dermatologist Alwin Scharlau.

Applying himself mainly to landscape painting, Albrecht specialized in the scenery of Thuringia, Schleswig-Holstein, Northern Germany, and the Taunus mountains, but also created portraits, still lifes and interior paintings.

Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
