Applying himself to genre and landscape painting as well as to portraiture, Blos was a member of the artists' association "Luitpold-Gruppe" and was appointed a professor at the Munich Academy of Arts in 1902.
Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
