Apart from creating illustrations for the "Frog Prince" for a 1904 edition of Grimm's fairytales as well as the storybook "Der Wolkenkönig" in 1925, Liebermann applied himself to lithography, mainly city and countryside views, before turning towards impressionist painting. His oeuvre comprised portraits, nudes and landscapes as well as ceiling frescoes.

A few small ink spots. Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
