With contributions by Hermann Bahr, Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Adolf Loos, Heinrich Mann, Thomas Mann, Alfred Polgar, Felix Salten and others. The photographic illustrations include portraits of Peter Altenberg as a child and young adult, as well as on holiday in Venice in 1913 and alongside his friend, the architect Adolf Loos. Among the facsimile autographs are Altenberg's signed manuscript of the poem "Wasser im Garten" and an autograph quotation signed to the actress Anni Mewes.
