Three bars from "Retour des Muletiers", the fifth and final part of Déodat de Séverac's suite for piano "Cerdaña" (1908-11) addressed to the pianist Linette Chalupt (1892-1918). The postcard shows the stage design for Déodat de Séverac's opera "Le Cœur du moulin" (1909).
Linette Chalupt was the younger sister of the poet and critic René Chalupt. Several pieces of music were dedicated to the young pianist, most importantly Erik Satie's valse "Son binocle" from his "Valses distinguées du précieux dégoûté" in 1914.
