Illustrated publication celebrating Aramco oil ventures in Dhahran and the achievements of their employees. It describes drilling operations in the desert as well as off-shore and presents some of the main jobs carried out by Aramco personnel. Particularly striking, however, is the idyllic portrayal of life in Saudi Arabia, showing the wives of Aramco employees enjoying their shopping trips, baking and having afternoon tea, as well as their husbands playing golf, bowling and sailing, or their children participating in the Fourth of July pie-eating contest of 1954.

Wrappers slightly worn at extremities. Interior very well-preserved.
