Rare offprint discussing the benefits of Aramco for the people of Saudi Arabia. First published in the "Frontiers" magazine, issued by the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, in December 1950.

The article treats the contrast between the traditional Arabian lifestyle and the modern oil industry, celebrating important technological advances brought about by the latter. The illustrations include an Aramco malariologist with his Saudi assistant, as well as Arab farmers benefitting from modern farming machinery. With a portrait of King Ibn Saud.
