In addition to his day-time job in the postal administration of Paris, Zaccone became a member of the "Société des Gens de Lettres". He was appointed to the Society's board in the mid-1860s and was involved in the organisation of the writers' congress later held under the honorary chairmanship of Victor Hugo.

With printed letterhead "Direction générale des Postes". Lightly browned in places with a split in the middle of the sheet (not touching the text).
