Limited edition artist book, one of only 70 copies, this being no. 40. Signed at the colophon by both the author Charles Juliet (b. 1934), and the illustrator Bertrand Dorny (1931-2015). Bound by Véronique Sala-Vidal and featuring three original lithographs by Dorny, each accompanied by stanzas of Juliet's poetry.

The French playwright, poet, and novelist Charles Juliet was awarded the Prix Goncourt de la Poésie in 2013. Dorny, a French artist, started off as a painter but swiftly turned to engraving and printmaking as his main focus. His work is beautifully showcased here, where both the art of book illustration and book making itself are allowed the main focus of the work.

In perfect condition.
