A calendar arranged in double pages with the left side listing historical events, saints and other useful information such as fairs or birthdays of important personalities for each day, while the right side leaves space for diary entries. Following the calendar part are, inter alia, a genealogy of the Austrian Imperial house, a list of other European rulers, an account of the French military campaign in Russia in 1812, descriptions of the most important events in the history of Vienna and Linz, accounts of relevant natural events since 1350, and a chapter on silkworm housing. With several diary entries by a contemporary, possibly Styrian owner, including notes on the exemption from the school fee for a six-year-old girl (p. 11), the collection of clover seeds and the ordering of scions (p. 25), as well as the cancellation of a quarterly payment to Admont monastery (p. 33).
