Charming note asking the ticket office of an unspecified opera house to extend two tickets for that evening's performance to the violinist and conductor Romeo Accursi: "Ayez, je vous prie la bonté de remettre au porteur du présent billet, deux places de pit, ou stalles d'enfithéâtre [!] pour ce soir, c'est un ami à M.r Mario et à moi, M.r Accursi - Mille compliments".
Romeo Accursi (1836-1919) met the famous Giulia Grisi early into his career. On 21 April 1858, he played a concert alongside Grisi and Enrico Tamberlik at Salle Herz in Paris. The young Accursi was one of Gioacchino Rossini's favourite performers.
