Correspondence with his friend and publisher Maurice Delamain of Librairie Stock in Paris. In the earliest (fragmented) letter from 18 April, Béguin congratulates Stock on a graphological essay "Le symbolisme de l'espace graphique" and mentions that his wife, the novelist Raymonde Vincent, was amused to see a reproduction of her handwriting in the publication.

On 26 April 1938, Béguin sent Delamain a typed excerpt from Marguèrite Combe's 1932 publication "Le rêve et la personnalité", wherein she describes a recurring image of a cavalier crossing from left to right that was experienced by an unnamed artist. Béguin wonders who the artist was and promises to contact Combes. A few weeks later, on 16 May 1938, he summarizes Combes' answer in a postcard from Basel, also mentioning the recent premiere of Arthur Honegger's (music) and Paul Claudel's (text) oratory "Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher" with Ida Rubinstein on 12 May.

In October 1938, Béguin and Raymonde Vincent are expecting Maurice Delamain and his wife at their Château in Saint-Maur, and he announces that Vincent is about to finish the fair copy of her second novel, "Blanche", which would be published by Stock in 1939.

The second part of the correspondence dates to the early 1950s, when Béguin took over the direction of the literary magazine "Esprit" following the death of Emmanuel Mounier. On 6 November 1953, Béguin announces to Delamain his intention to "develop the literary section", expressing his hope to interest Delamain in buying ad space. In the final dated letter from 29 June 1953, Béguin brings the Swiss writer Dorette Berthoud and her speculative biography of the Romanian physician Carol Davila, "Davila, fils de Liszt ?", to Delamain's attention. Berthoud's book was ultimately published by the Éditions de la Baconnière in 1956.
