To the actor Émile Drain with thanks for a poem that Pawlowski very much enjoyed and calls a remarkable inspiration, but unfortunately would not be able to give it the proper placement in his journal: "J'ai lu avec le plus grand plaisir le poème que vous m'avez envoyé, qui est, en effet, d'une inspiration très remarquable. Malheureusement, il ne pourrait passer dans Comoedia qu'en chronique de tête, et je n'ai point de place de disponible à cet effet [...]".

"Comœdia" was a French literary and artistic periodical founded by Pawlowski and Henri Desgrange in 1907, to which the writer Paul-Adrien Schayé regularly contributed in the pre-war years.

On stationery with printed letterhead and envelope. Somewhat smudged.
