Rare edition of the Middle Persian "Dina i Mainu i Khrat", edited by Darab Dastur Peshotan (1857-1931), a Zoroastrian head-priest and scholar. The title is also given in Pahlavi at the head of the title-page. The appendix contains the "Chêrâgê dânêsh, or The lamp of learning" with a Gujarati preface by the editor, Persian verses composed by Dasturân Dastur Edulji Darabji Sanjana, and a life of the Dastur Saheb in metrical Gujarati.
Contemporary bookplate in Gujarati to front pastedown. 1910s stamp of the Viennese "Forschungsinstitut für Osten und Orient" to title-page. Very well preserved.
