A large bird's-eye view of Mecca showing the city with its main pilgrimage routes, centered on the Kaaba. The principal monuments and places in the city and its surroundings are identified by 64 numbers, with the key printed in the lower margin. The view is based on the classic engraving issued by the Austrian orientalist Andreas Hunglinger in 1803, itself a copy of a print by Ignace Mouradgea d'Ohsson made in 1791.

Overall in good condition.
