First Russian edition of the influential political pamphlet by the German socialist Wilhelm Liebknecht, with a foreword by Lenin. Prepared with a view to the upcoming election in Prussia in 1899 under the title "Kein Kompromiss - kein Wahlbündnis", Liebknecht's text appeared to Lenin a suitable means of fighting revisionism and opportunism among the socialist party, and had it translated into Russian by Dmitry Leshchenko.
