Exceedingly rare confidential military pamphlet used by the Egyptian Armed Forces for training and education for an armed conflict with Israel (here referred to as the "Blue State") during the months before the Suez Crisis. Essentially a strategic handbook, it was prepared by Ibrahim Fuad Sharef, Director of Training, and approved by Abdel Hakim Amer (1919-67), Chief of the General Staff, seeking to teach their men Israeli battle tactics and how to counter them. Containing military secrets and classified strategies, the pamphlet was never intended for publication and circulation outside the army - circumstances making it almost unobtainable today.

Small tear to plan. Wrappers somewhat spotted.
