A remarkable collection of autographs, including inscriptions by notable sportsmen, actors and musicians, interspersed with occasional personal contributions by friends of the owner.
The album was gifted to Feliks Zakrzewski of London by his mother on his 11th birthday in October 1963, and the inscriptions were acquired almost entirely over the course of the swinging 1960s. Among its many famous names of the time are Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, actors Gene Kelly, Sid James and Richard Chamberlain, the American singer Johnny Ray, footballers such as Jimmy Langley, Bill Williams, George McLeod, Rodney Marsh and Frank McLintock, the cricketer Ken Barrington, the boxer Henry Cooper, the jockey Lester Piggott, the Polish athlete Wieslaw Maniak, British former track and field athlete Mary Rand, the players of the 1965/66 Brentford F.C. season, Fulham 1965/66 and 1966/67, sexual offender Jimmy Savile, British actor Warren Mitchell, flutist Elaine Shaffer and her husband, the conductor Efrem Kurtz and many more.
Ownership inscription by the British private investigator Feliks Zakrzewski (b. 1952), now of Bournemouth, with associated gift inscription from his mother.
