Rare Russian poster documenting Fidel Castro's friendly visit to Moscow in 1963, published in the State Publishing House of Fine Arts: "Long live eternal, indestructible friendship and cooperation between the Soviet and Cuban peoples!" A few months after the Cuban Missile Crisis that had brought the world to the brink of nuclear war, Castro had accepted an invitation by Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev to Russia and his lodge Zavidovo.
