I enclose you two seats for this evening but I am afraid they will arrive too late as I see you have a ball dress rehearsal. Wishing you a great success in your new piece [...]".
Neilson toured America throughout the 1870s, when she played the role of Amy Robsart in May 1873. She is noted for a fine performance in Brooklyn that same year.
