Wide-margined, untrimmed plates in original wrappers; slightly foxed; margins somewhat dusty. Attractively bound set of text volumes (clean and spotless throughout). From the library of Duke Max in Bavaria (1808-88), father of Empress Elizabeth, with his shelfmark label.
