Principal work of Ibn Sîdah (1007-1066), the great blind Andalusian lexicographer: the most important Arabic encyclopedia and dictionary. Lemmas are arranged in groups based on different classes of words. Two manuscripts are preserved: one in Cairo (dated 1202) and one in the Escorial.

Occasional edge wear; some browning and brownstaining. A good copy.
