The complete first year of this rare radical weekly that ceased publication in 1920. In the course of the October Revolution, Däumig (1866-1922) became the speaker of the left wing of the Independent Social Democratic Party of Germany (USPD), which favoured a system of councils (Räte, Soviets) over parliamentary democracy. The same vision informs the present short-lived journal. The first issue begins with the invocation: "Proletarians! The socialist century has begun." - Browned throughout due to paper. Binding a little rubbed and bumped in places, otherwise fine.
